“Excellence In Teaching And Learning In the Sciences” Symposium --- Mark Your Calendars

Though it’s “a little ways off," you should definitely try and find time to attend this Symposium. It takes place January 11th and 12th, 2016 --- and it’s sure to fire up your creative thinking.

Back in 2012 we attended the Symposium and had opportunity to sit down with the Keynote Speaker, University of Maryland Baltimore-County (UMBC) President, Dr. Freeman Hrabowski for an informative Q&A session in his office at UMBC. The wealth of experience and academic intelligence Dr. Hrabowski brings made for a very memorable keynote address. I'm sure the speakers and guest for this year will continue to build on the previous momentum the Symposium has generated.

Here’s all the details along with registration information.

Our good friend Kelly Clark, over at the Center for Educational Resources (CER) passed this notification our way, and if you have any questions Kelly is one of our favorite go-to people. The Symposium is a wonderful think tank of ideas, and CER does a great job with the promotion and coordination of the event.
