Welch Library Undertakes Landmark Initiative Through KICKSTARTER

The Welch Library has purchased a film through KICKSTARTER!

This is the first time the Welch Library has ever paid for a resource through crowd-sourcing! We bought the level that gives us the screening plus a physical copy of the video to put in our permanent collection. We're happy to be working with the House Staff Council to present this event, and we believe the film is a beautiful work of art. So please, spread the word, tell a friend, tell ALL your friends. We're excited to bring this experience to our campus, and we want everyone to know about it. All the details are below --- keep reading!!!

As you can see all Hopkins employees, students and faculty are invited and we hope this will turn into a true campus-wide event. LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! While we don’t have a red carpet in place, we can offer you  a peek at the trailer. And here’s a wonderful review  when the film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

We hope you put this one-of-a-kind event on your calendar. Come out and support this effort from the House Staff Council and the Welch Library. Again, here are the details:

Chevy Chase Auditorium, Zayed Building

Dinner: 5:30 p.m.
